The available trace types are:

• NORMA

L

Normal trace mode (the default trace mode). The power level values after the detector are displayed on the screen in 
real-time without additional processing.

• MAXHOLD

Shows in blue the highest power levels registered since the sweeping with this trace mode commenced, additional to 
the NORMAL (actual real-time) trace. The number in blue under the graph shows how many sweeps the MAXHOLD 
trace has been plotted. The input power value on center frequency is displayed for the blue MAXHOLD trace. If MARKER is 
activated with MAXHOLD trace mode, the input power value is shown with larger digits for the NORMAL trace and with 
smaller digits for the blue MAXHOLD trace. If POWER IN BAND is activated with MAXHOLD trace mode, the input 
power value is shown with larger digits for the NORMAL trace and with smaller digits for the blue MAXHOLD trace.

When a spectrum curve is saved with MAXHOLD trace mode, only the MAXHOLD trace is preserved.

 

 

 

 

 

Use MAXHOLD trace mode for antenna adjustments. It can also be used to detect intermittent
