5. WARRANTY
The Termo Gnosjö AB units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new unit is
purchased. The warranty on batteries is limited to 6 months after purchase. Consumables or defects causing a negligible
effect on the operation or value of the equipment are not covered. The warranty must be proven by presentation of the
original purchase receipt, on which the date of purchase and the unit model are indicated.
WARRANTY HANDLING
A faulty unit needs to be returned to an Termo Gnosjö AB service centre accompanied by a valid purchase note. If the unit
develops a fault during the warranty period, Termo Gnosjö AB or its officially appointed service centre will repair any defect
caused by material or manufacturing faults free of charge. Termo Gnosjö AB will at its discretion fulfil its warranty obligations
by either repairing or replacing the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, the colour and model can be
different from that of the original purchased unit. The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The
warranty period is not extended if the unit is replaced or repaired by Termo Gnosjö AB or its officially appointed service centre.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment of operation and damage resulting from the use of non-original parts of
accessories not recommented by Termo Gnosjö AB are not covered by the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage
caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire, nor any damage caused during transportation. No warranty can be
claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible. Any warranty claims will be invalid if
the unit has been repaired, altered or modified by the buyer or by unqualified, non-officially appointed Termo Gnosjö AB service
centres.
DO NOT COVER:
To ensure correct thermostat function, the radiator must not be covered. Radiator temperature can reach approx. 80 degrees
Celsius. Clothing and similar items must not be placed on the radiator to avoid risk of fire.
CLEANING:
Wipe the surface of the radiator with a damp cloth to remove any dust or dirt.
3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION:
The radiator must be earthed and installed in compliance with national regulations.
OPERATION:
Set the switch to position 1. Set the thermostat to the highest setting until the radiator heats up. When the temperature in
the room has reached the desired level, turn the thermostat down until the light just goes out, which means that heating will
be switched off temporarily. Heating will then be regulated automatically by the thermostat, and the room will be maintained
at the desired temperature.
PLEASE NOTE! Never allow the cable to lie on top of the radiator when it is switched on. When removing the plug from the
socket, do not pull the cable. Grip the plug and pull firmly.
PERMANENT INSTALLATION (FIG. 1):
Please note: a gap of at least 60mm from the floor and 100mm to any window frame above must be maintained.
Minimum distance to any corner must also be 100mm. See FIG. 1.
Always check that the radiator is horizontal. The connector box must always be at the bottom.
The radiator must not be installed below a permanent wall socket.
Do not cover the radiator or use it to dry items such as clothes.
MOUNTING WALL BRACKETS:
Fit the wall brackets in the chosen location. Locate the radiator on the lower part of the wall bracket, then pull out the upper part
of the spring-loaded wall bracket and secure the radiator so that its upper and lower edges rest in the slots in the wall bracket.
OVERHEATING CUT-OUT:
The radiator is fitted with an automatic cut-out to prevent overheating. It will restart automatically when the power is disconnected.
FROST PROTECTION SYSTEM:
Turn the thermostat as far as it will go to the left. The temperature will drop to around 4-6 degrees Celsius, and will be maintained
automatically. Please note: the radiator must be suitable for the size and degree of insulation of the room.
MAY NOT BE INSTALLED IN WET AREAS.
The element complies with enclosure class IP20 and is not approved for wet areas.
IF THE RADIATOR DOES NOT FUNCTION:
1. Check fuse/cut-out and that the plug is in full contact with the socket.
2. Turn thermostat full up.
If the radiator will still not work, please contact the retailer where you purchased it or Termo Gnosjö AB.
PLEASE NOTE! The radiator is filled with a certain amount of special oil. Never try to open the unit under any
circumstances. Oil leaks must be reported to Termo Gnosjö AB.
