REPLACEMENT OF GAS CONES AND GAS CONE SEATS
IN THE GAS/WATER
UNIT BENEATH THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL KNOB
Models: TE125X,TE125H, TE80X, TE80H
Beneath the cover of the gas/water unit is the valve being operated by means of the gas
control knob. This valve contains the gas cone II and gas cone seat. To convert the
gas/water unit to a different type of gas, follow the steps below:
•
Remove the cover by undoing the two screws.
•
Remove the gas cone; use pliers if necessary.
•
Remove the gas cone seat, also by pliers if necessary.
•
Insert the new gas cone in the same direction as the one removed.
•
Insert the new gas cone seat paying special attention not to damage the sealing
ring.
•
Re-install the cover. Make sure that the cover is properly set so that the lever
faces toward the micro switch. (Check orientation before removing the cover.)
