Road or site transfer
When travelling on public roads, strictly obey the
local or national road traffic regulations.
Before traveling on public roads, ensure the following
precautions are taken:
• Start the engine.
• Align the rear wheels with the chassis.
• Stow the floating forks as shown below
With the floating forks tilted back, do not move the
fork tilting cylinder as the machine could suffer from
damage.

Retract and lower the boom.
• Set
the
Job-site/Road/Platform
selector to
“Road mode”.
•
Make sure that lights, horn and turn signals are
in working order.
•
The drive speed of the machine will depend on
the engine rpm and gear selected.
Driving on public loads is only allowed with an
unloaded machine. Do not use the machine to
tow trailers.
Engine Condition Indicator
If the Alert indicator light and/or the Engine Critical
Fault indicator light switches on, contact service
personnel.
After Each Use
1 Select a suitable parking location—firm level
surface, clear of obstruction and traffic.
2 Retract the outriggers.
3 Retract and lower the boom to the stowed
position.
4 Move the transmission control lever to neutral.
5 Set the parking brake.
6 Turn the key switch to the off position and
remove the key to secure from unauthorized
use.
