Host Name
Enter the host name of the WX-54G in this field if requested by your ISP.
MAC Address
Enter the MAC address of your WX-54G in this field if requested by your ISP.
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the WX-54G in this field as it is seen in your local network. The
default value is 192.168.1.1.
Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask of the WX-54G in this field as it is seen in your local network.
The default is 255.255.255.0.
Configuring NAT Settings
Use the following screens to set up Network Address Translation (NAT) for the WX-54G.
NAT is a program used to translate an IP address from a private address to a public
address in real time. This allows multiple PCs in a home network to share a single pub-
lic IP address. It also protects the PCs from being accessed from the outside network.
Use the NAT screens to do the following:

Configuring the NAT Port Trigger
•
Configuring the NAT Virtual Server
•
Configuring the NAT Virtual Data Management Zone (DMZ)
