Start the Software
Connect the
TERA
– Ohmmeter with the PC – Interface cable to a free serial PC Interface
(COM 1 or COM 2) from your PC, and press key „A“ to switch on the TERA – Ohmmeter.
Start under Windows your EXCEL Program.
Open in Excel the file „UT584.xls“ in the directory c:\tom584

To select the Menüpunkte use Coursor - Buttons

. With the <Enter> Button Menüpunkt will be started.

Change start condition
Timer ?
(0-240s)
give in direct the time for the count-down (0 – 240 sec).
Average ?
[y/n]
with “y” the mid-value (Average) of all the measurements, during
the count-down timer is running, are calculated.
with „n” the last measured value is shown in the display (Lapse).
Important
!
The changed items are not stored in the EEPROM !

Start Measurement
With
<Enter> the count-down timer for the measurement cycle will be started. After the count-down
timer returned to zero it is possible to store the complete measurement-curve.
(100ms – sample-time).
Save Data ?
[y/n]
with “y” the measured values will be stored in the file MV.DAT .
These File (MV.DAT) can be imported and modified with a
spread-sheet
analysis
(ex.
EXCEL).
For separation of the data-cells a comma is used.
Important
!
With each saving the file MV.DAT will be overwritten !
If you want to store different files, you need to rename the actual file MV.DAT.
Then you can store the next MV.DAT.

Save Data - Files from TOM
with
<Enter> the complete data-memory (in the EEPROM of the TOM) are transmitted and stored
as the file “FILE.DAT”. The modification- procedure is like for the “MV.DAT”.

Reset Tera
with
<Enter> a reset the processor in the TOM will be started and the selected values in the memory
of the TOM are transmitted to the PC.

Exit
with <Enter> the programm will be closed.
