Basic rules of operation
You will soon get the hang of operating your telephone if you observe the following
simple rules.
How the functions are arranged in the mobile unit

Your telephone has a number of functions (menu
items) which are not immediately visible. They
are arranged one below another in a numbered
list.
Menu items A1 – A4 are above the initial state.
The display shows the menu item you have se-
lected (here the initial state).
Menu items 01 – 38 are below the initial state.
Selecting the functions
Scroll up or down through the individual menu items
with the selection keys.
To “jump” to the initial state from any other position,
press the “Home”-key.
Quick selection
Enter the number of the menu item you want to jump to
in the initial state.
Scroll down once with the selection key.
The desired function is shown in the display, with the
current setting if applicable.
Entering numbers
Press the desired number keys to enter a phone
number.
If you press the wrong number, press the “Clear” key
briefly.
The respective last digit is cleared from the display.
Saving inputs
Every number you see in the display is saved automati-
cally when you press one of the selection keys or the
“Home” key.
Cancelling entries without saving.
Press the “Internal” or “Handset” key
