8. Mount the new front cover assembly to the machine with the new hood hinge (12).
(Refer to FIG. 2)
9. Mount the bottom of the RH latch arm to mounting support 382766 with a hex screw (19),
washer (22) and lock nut (23).
(Refer to FIG. 2)
10. Prop the new front cover open with the installed latch arm.
11. Install the bulb seal (2) around the bottom edge of the front cover.
(Refer to FIG. 2)
12. Connect the new strobe jumper harness to the main harness. Secure the wire harness
under the front cover with wire ties.
13. Raise the front cover, release the latch arm, and lower the front cover.
14. Reconnect the battery to the machine, and lower the rear cover.
15. Start the machine. Check the bulb seal for proper fit, and the front strobe for proper
operation.
