9. Replace the VCS system filter shaker. Use

care to insert the shaking pin into the filter

comb correctly.

10. Place the edges of the shaker firmly

between the filter and the filter seal.

NOTE: When installed properly, the shaker plate

cannot move in either front--to--back or

side--to--side directions. If the shaker is loose, it

will not function properly.

11. The filter shaker should lay flat against the

filter. Check to make sure the comb tab is

not caught below the filter shaker plate.
