ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The electrical system on the model 3640G/LP

consists of a battery, internal engine alternator,

filter shaker motor, side brush motor(s), circuit

breakers, relays, and switches.

BATTERY

The battery on the model 3640 is a 12 volt wet

style. It is located in the engine compartment, on

the left side of the engine.

TO CHARGE BATTERY

FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or

Servicing Machine; Stop On Level

Surface, Place Shifter In Park.

1. Open the engine cover and engage the prop

rod.

2. Disconnect the battery cables from the

battery.

3. Connect the positive cable (red) from the

charger to the positive (+) terminal on the

battery.

4. Connect the negative cable (black) from the

charger to the negative (--) terminal on the

battery.

5. Let the battery charger run until the gauge

shows that the battery is fully charged.
