5. Once you have highlighted the desired profile, press the
ENTER
button to
activate the selected show profile.
The channel labels on the console will change to the new preconfigured lineup
of channels:
Important Note:
The Axia Element will never interrupt an active audio source in order
to load a new one.
For example, let’s assume that you’re playing a CD on CD1 (Channel 6 on the
STANDARD STUDIO C
profile). Suppose that Channel 6 is
_
ON
_
and the audio is
being broadcast over the air. While the song is playing, you decide to change to the
ALL 5 MICS
profile, which has Turntable 1 assigned to Channel 6. Obviously there is a
conflict!
Instead of blindly changing the channel and interrupting audio that’s on-the-air, the
console will simply hold the new source until ready. In the example above, when you’re
finished playing CD1,
and
when you press the yellow
_
OFF
_
button for channel 6, the
Turntable 1 channel (TT1) will automatically load on channel 6.
What if you pick a profile you didn’t really want?
Just rotate the selector knob and choose the profile that you DO want, and press the
ENTER
button again!
