RF Interface
8.9.1.
RF IN
The RF input (RF-IN) pin accepts GNSS L1 band signals and NavIC L5 band signals.
Signal level should be between -125 dBm and -165 dBm into 50
Ω
impedance.
DC voltage to the RF input is blocked by an internal capacitor.
Warning: The RF-IN pin is ESD sensitive.
If this module is co-located with a transmitter (e.g. cellular radio) it may be required to
use additional filtering in the GNSS path prior to the module’s RF input.
Warning: The maximum total external gain is 24 dB (including all
external gain that is antenna gain, external LNA gain, and any passive
losses due to cables, connectors, filters, matching networks, and so
on).
8.9.2.
Burnout Protection
Warning: The receiver accepts without risk of damage a signal of +5
dBm total power over a band from 0 to 6 GHz. Note that this may be
different from the other members of the SL869 family based on the
Teseo III GNSS engine

Antenna Selection
The antenna must be deigned to provide GNSS signals in both bands:
•
GPS (L1) at 1575.42 MHz
•
NavIC (L5) at 1176.45 MHz
