8.6.
Control and Status Signals
8.6.1.
Startup Requirements
Warning: For normal startup, pins 3, 14, and 20 must be LOW or
FLOATING. They have internal pulldowns. Hold for 1 second or until
the start of the first output message.
8.6.2.
nRESET
Asserting nRESET (pull low for 5 ms or more, then release) will clear the contents of
SRAM and RTC.
The module will begin operation with a cold start after nRESET is released.
Warning: Since the BOOT SELECT pin is read when nRESET is
released, it must be set to the desired input level (LOW or FLOATING
for normal operation) before nRESET is released. Pins 3 and 20 must
be LOW or FLOATING during RESET.

Holding nRESET low will not place the module in a low-power state.
8.6.3.
Boot Select
Low or Floating for normal operation. This pin has an internal pulldown.
Pull high to load FW into flash memory (before powerup or reset).
This pin is read upon power-up and exiting a RESET. It is also read when exiting a
hardware standby mode.
