Power Consumption S42/AI
The S42/AI uses a DC/DC converter for feeding the radio and CPU with 1,3V DC.
The DC/DC converter may be disabled and replaced by a linear regulator by the PMU
(Power Management Unit) if the current consumption is low. This further saves battery
power, because at low current consumption the DC/DC converter efficiency decreases,
because the influence of the switching losses increases.
The following values are typical power consumption values in the different states.
VSUP = 3,0V, Tamb = 25°C, all GPIOs open, UART inputs at VSUP or GND, SLCK: 32,768 kHz
