8. Service and Calibration
Service
WARNING:
The presence of lethal voltages within the instrument means that the user is strictly
forbidden from removing the covers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the
instruments.
NOTICE:
Should any difficulties be encountered in the use of the THCD-401, it is recommended that
you contact Teledyne Hastings Instruments for advice and instructions. Entry into the instrument or
tampering with the printed circuit board will void the warranty.
Calibration
There is no user calibration for the THCD-401. It is recommended that the instrument be returned periodically
to Teledyne Hastings Instruments for a ‘factory calibration’. This will ensure optimum performance throughout
the life of the product.
Adjustment
WARNING:

forbidden from removing the covers. There are no user adjustments in the instrument.
Cleaning
A dirty instrument may be wiped clean with a damp cloth, then wiped dry immediately.
WARNING:
Under no circumstances should the instrument be wetted directly or left damp.
End of Life
Teledyne Hastings Instruments complies with the WEEE legislation as a manufacturer of Electrical and
Electronic Equipment. Once this equipment reaches its end of life or is no longer required, it may be returned
to Teledyne Hastings Instruments to be reused or recycled. Please contact Teledyne Hastings Instruments for
