is in excess of
40%, calibration with 100%
is recommended.
C) Do not hold sensor or sub-
ject it to changes in tem-
perature during calibration.
D) If humidified gas is used to
ventilate the patient, water
vapor actually dilutes the
gas. See Chapter 2.0: Hu-
midity, Temperature.
E) If a blender is used, check
its calibration. See Chapter
