The
Current status
shows the 1:1 status of the modem. This will be shown as
Main
when
the modem is online,
Maintenance
when the modem has been taken out of service, and
Standby
when the modem is offline, ready to switch over on a fault occurring on the
online modem.
Transmit fail switchover
controls whether a switchover occurs on a transmit alarm.
Likewise
Receive fail switchover
controls whether a switchover occurs on a receive alarm.
Ticking a checkbox activates the switchover logic, putting it in a state where the modem
will switch over when a relevant transmit or receive alarm occurs.
