Pressing the Intensity knob applies
Persistence
to the trace. You’ll see the WaveStream
indicator light to show Persistence is on.
Continue pressing the knob to switch from
Analog to Color or turn off Persistence. When
Persistence is on, turning the Intensity knob
adjusts the trace Intensity and Saturation levels.
BASICS
Line, Intensity, and Persistence
The trace style can be set to a series of separate sample
Points
or a
continuous vector

Grid Intensity
makes the grid lines dimmer or brighter relative to the trace.
When more data is available than can actually be displayed,
Trace
Intensity
helps to visualize significant events by applying an algorithm
that dims less frequently occurring samples. Turn the front panel
Intensity
knob
to control the trace Intensity (the level appears in the Message Bar).
