Next the display will change to show the 1st option:

7) Press MENU to review the available options. They are:

SHOW HOTEL MSG1 - This option will display the 1st message ONLY.

SHOW HOTEL MSG2 - This option will display the 2nd message ONLY.

SHOW HOTEL MSG3 -  This option will display the 3rd message ONLY.

SHOW CONTINUOUS - This option will display each message one after another.

SHOW EVERY 06HR -

This option displays Hotel Message #1 and then “updates” 

the displayed message to Hotel Message #2 after a 6 hour 
period. Hotel Message #3 will be displayed after another 6 
hours, cycling back to Hotel Message #1 after an incremen-
tal 6 hours.

SHOW EVERY 12HR - This option like above “updates” the display every 12 hrs.

SHOW EVERY 24HR - This option like above “updates” the display every 24 hrs.

8) Choose the desired option and press SELECT. The LCD will display:

9) If no additional programming is required at this time, remove and replace the line cord

from the back of the Millennium to reset the phone for normal operation.

PROGRAMMING THE MESSAGE DISPLAY FORMAT

The Hotel Messages can be displayed in 1 of 2 formats.

Non-interlaced

- Provides a Billboard Scroll format shifting characters to the left one at a

time through the complete message. This is the factory default setting.

Interlaced

- Replaces the entire 15 character display at all at once.

To select a format from the following screen:

1) Press the MENU button 9 times. The LCD will display:

3) Press the MENU button to toggle between Disabling and Enabling the INTERLACE

mode. If INTERLACE is DISABLED, the Hotel Message will be displayed in the
Billboard Scroll method. If INTERLACE is ENABLED, the Hotel Message will be dis-
played fifteen (15) characters at a time.

4) When the desired mode is displayed, press SELECT to set. The Display will change

back to:

PROGRAMMING THE BACKLIGHTING

The Millennium LCD display can be programmed to turn off after a specified period of
time, in increments of 10 seconds, to stay on continuously, or not to go on at all. The
default setting is 30 seconds. To change this setting:

1) From the above screen, press the MENU button 6 times until the LCD displays:
