4.6 Software Upgrading
Since this receiver is made to last, the time may come when its software needs to be modified or improved
by updates. These updates will optimise the receiver’s functions or correct minor flaws.
Updates may be distributed to the receiver Over The Air (OTA).
CAUTION
An OTA upgrade could take several time, in particular in case of weak signal. During the upgrade, do not interact with the
receiver and never turn off the main leads: risk of permanent damage!

customize the automatic software upgrading, which can take place

4.7 Energy saving
This receiver is equipped with energy saving functions:
4.7.1 Auto Standby
After three hours in active mode without any action of the user, the receiver will be switched automatically
into standby mode. A few minutes before the switching, a notification message will appear on screen.
The automatic power-down function is set to
On
(active) by default, but the user may disable it from the
Setup
-
Auto Standby
menu.
CAUTION
If you set a program timer on
Setup
-
Timer Setting
menu or from EPG with a duration grater than three hours, we
suggest to disable the
Auto Standby
function.
4.7.2 Antenna loop-through
During stand.by mode, the antenna loop-through (ANT OUT connector, see par. 2.2) is disabled by default. It
can be activated by setting
On
the
RF Loop
parameter of the
Installation
-
Power Control
menu.
4.8 Factory Reset
The factory settings of the receiver can be restored by a reset. To do so, press MENU on the remote control,
select
Tools
and then
Load Factory Setting
.
CAUTION
A reset will loose all personal options and features settings saved in the receiver
