Chapter 1 About this Guide

This is the installation manual for the RS1800 series router and contains information on how to correctly install the
device in a working environment.

1.1 Supported devices

The information provided in this installation manual only applies to the RS1800 series router.

Note

The Wi-Fi version includes an embedded bintec WE2022ac access point.

Communication with the embedded access point is possible thanks to a separate port in the switch in-
terface. This port can appear under "wlan" or be listed as port 5.
