Each NTS Panel has two action buttons on the right-hand side. Clicking on the “Expand” button
expands the associated panel to show all of the current parameter settings for that port. Clicking
on the “Edit” button opens the Setup screen for that NTS.

The NTS Edit Mode menu displays the current configuration summary followed by a list menu
and a User Prompt, as shown in Fig .
0 - Basic Parameters
This option allows permanent values to be assigned to the basic address parameters of the NTS.
The parameters that can be edited under this menu are described below
IP Address:
The IP address is set by keying four 3-digit values representing the 4 octets of the
IP address. Range of each value is 0-254. If the IP address is set to 0 in all four octets (the
factory default) then the NTS will automatically operate in DHCP/BOOTP/AutoIP mode. In this
mode the NTS will search the network for a DHCP Server so that it can obtain an IP address
automatically. Tekron recommends that the user sets a specific IP address for each NTS rather
than allowing automatic address allocation via DHCP. The address should match the network
address definition (usually the first 3 octets) with the unique address of the NTS occupying the
last octet.
