sound alarms can be changed at
any time.

To eliminate a “Sound Alarm”, drag
the blue triangle (fig. 7), to the 00:00
position of the time ring.

Flex Zone function
By means of this function, it is possible
for two zones, indicated as “Flex
Zone”, to operate together, to both
select a power level and to activate
the “Timer” function.
Activating the function.
To activate this function, on the main
screen, place your finger on one of the
zones with this function and slide it to
the other one. By doing so, the outline
of the two zones will light up in red. The
detection of the cookware will occur
in the entire area linked together. You
have a few seconds to carry out the
next operation, otherwise the function
will be automatically deactivated and
the zones will return to their previous
state. This function can also be
activated if any of the zones already
have power assigned to them.
Deactivating the function.
To deactivate this function, you must
select the zone again and press the
zone off icon, unlinking the zones
and the power levels or functions
assigned. You can also deactivate this
function by either reducing the power
level to “0” and by then pressing on
any zone, or by reducing the power
level to “0” and waiting approximately
three seconds for it to be deactivated
automatically.

On the
“power selection” screen (fig.
5), t
here is the iCooking icon , which
has special functions (fig. 8) that help
the user when cooking.
To activate a special function for a
zone:

First it must have been selected.

Then press the iCooking icon
, which will light up in red.
When you remove your finger, the
special functions menu will scroll
up from the bottom. If you press the
iCooking icon again, this menu
will disappear.
If you want to cancel at any time an
activated special function, you must
select the zone and set a new power
level, turn the zone off, or you can
choose a different special function by
pressing the iCooking icon again.
Keep Warm function
This function automatically sets an
adequate power level to keep cooked
food warm.
Activating the function.
To activate it, choose a zone and
press the “iCooking” icon . When
you do so, i
t will light up in red.
Press
the “Keep Warm” icon
(fig. 8), and
it will also light up in red. Once this
function is activated, the
symbol
will be displayed in the centre of the
zone chosen.
Deactivating the function.
You can cancel this function at any
time by first choosing the zone, turning
it off or by changing the power level.
iQuickBoiling function
This function makes it possible to
automatically boil water, very helpful
for cooking pasta, rice, eggs, boiling
food, etc. Only available in the zones
that display the symbol.
Conditions of the cookware
For an adequate operation of the
”iQuickBoiling” function, it is necessary
to use cookware that meets the
following conditions:
- Bottom size as close as possible to
the zone diameter.
- NO LID.
- Filled to more than half of its
capacity with water at ambient
temperature (never use already
warm or hot water).
Failure to meet these conditions
distorts adequate control of the boiling.
WARNING: do not use this
function for any cooking operation
other than boiling water. Never use
oil as it can heat up excessively
and ignite
.
Activating the function.
To activate it, choose a zone and
press the iCooking icon
. When
you do so, it will light up in red. Press
the “iQuickBoiling” function icon
(fig. 8), and it will also light up in red.
Once this function is activated the
symbol will be displayed in the centre
of the zone chosen.
When the system detects that the
water is close to boiling, there will
be a first beeping sound. Use the
opportunity to prepare the food you
want to boil or cook.
30 seconds later there will be a second
beep accompanied by a message
indicating that if you have not yet done
so, it is time to add the food to the pot.
After the second beep, the system will
