USE
1. TO OPEN THE LID
– Press on the locking system and the lid lifts automatically.
(fig 2)
To close, press down firmly on the lid.
2. PLACE THE BASE ON A FLAT, STABLE, HEAT-RESISTANT SURFACE AWAY FROM WATER
SPLASHES AND ANY SOURCES OF HEAT.

Kettle is only to be used with the base provided.
3. FILL THE KETTLE WITH THE DESIRED AMOUNT OF WATER.

Never fill the kettle when it is on its base.
•
Do not fill it above the maximum level, or below the minimum level. If the kettle is too full,
boiling water may spill out.
•
Do not use without water.
•
Check that the lid is closed properly before use.
4. POSITION THE KETTLE ON ITS BASE. PLUG IT INTO THE MAINS SOCKET.
5. TO START THE KETTLE
Press the on/off button on the handle
.
The temperature of the water in the kettle is displayed on the screen.
TO BOIL THE WATER
2 options:
– If you would like to boil the kettle, press the on/off button
once.
– If you would like to choose your own temperature (4 options: 37, 60, 80, 90°C), press the
button until you reach the desired temperature and press on/off button
to start boiling.
The chosen temperature is marked by a dot under the temperature marking on the handle. It will
stop once the selected temperature has been reached (accurate to +/- 5 °C). You will hear a beep
sound and the reached temperature will be displayed.
To stop the cycle once it is under way, press the On/off button
once again.
You can even follow the temperature rise, when the background light of the water level meter
changes colour as follows:
0-59°C - green light
60-69°C - pale blue light
70-79°C - blue light
80-89°C - purple light
90-100°C - red light
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Remove all of the various packaging, stickers or accessories from both the inside and outside of
the kettle (do not forget to remove the transparent protective film from the screen).
2. Adjust the length of the cord by winding it under the base. Wedge the cord into the notch.

Throw away the water from the first two/three uses as it may contain dust. Rinse the kettle and
the filter separately.
• This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age,
as long as they are supervised and have been given instructions
about using the appliance safely and are fully aware of the
dangers involved. Cleaning and maintenance by the user should
not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years of
age and are supervised by an adult.
