16.5 How to secure your air curtain system to the floor
You should first determine where the device is to be installed. The position should ensure that
neither the air intake area nor air discharge nozzle is blocked. Now place the base plate where the
system is to be installed; it will initially be used as a template.
Mark the positions for drilling holes in the floor, remove the base plate, and drill the holes. Then
fix the base plate to the air curtain system using the screws provided. Now you can fix the base
plate and the air curtain system to the floor using heavy duty dowels.
This completes the installation on the floor. The electrical connection must now be laid.
It is essential to use all specified anchor points on the air curtain system! Special TEDDINGTON
mounting materials can be obtained from Teddington. The mounting materials must be adapted
to the local situation, and the structural stability checked where necessary. The supplied
mounting parts must be checked for suitability and replaced if necessary. The specialist
installation company is exclusively responsible for safe installation.
