Applicazione e caratteristiche:
I cavi riscaldanti per tubazioni scarico condensa sono progettati per essere collocati all’inter-
no delle tubazioni per drenare l’acqua da attrezzature refrigeratrici sottoposte a scongelamento
collocate in ambienti freddi. I riscaldatori funzionano solo durante i cicli di scongelamento. Nei
depositi freddi, dopo un determinato tempo di funzionamento, si crea un accumulo di ghiaccio
nelle alette di raffreddamento e perciò lo scongelamento si rende necessario.
Le resistenze elettriche vengono inserite tra le alette per sciogliere il ghiaccio, mentre l’acqua
viene raccolta e drenata attraverso tubazioni per lo smaltimento. Diversi metri delle tubazioni si
trovano all’interno dei depositi freddi, perciò l’acqua potrebbe ghiacciarsi di nuovo.
Per evitare questo problema, viene inserito un riscaldatore all’interno della tubazione. Quest’ulti-
mo viene acceso solamente durante i cicli di scongelamento

General Guidelines for installation:
Drain pipe heaters are uniquely designed to be laid inside pipes for draining water from thawing
refrigeration equipments installed in cold rooms. They operate only during thawing cycles. In cold
stores, after a certain time of operation, there is a buildup of ice in cooler fins and defrosting must
take place.
Electric resistances are inserted between the fins to melt ice and water is collected and passed
through a drain pipes for disposal. Some meters of drain pipes are inside the cold stores, so con-
sequently the water may freeze again.
To avoid this problem, a drain pipe heater is inserted in to the pipe. It is switched on only during
the defrosting cycles.
