5.00 Display

At this point, the scale should be installed and the WP20 Weight Processor mounted and wired.
Now power up the system. The display windows should light up with information. Since the
WP20 has not yet been set up, disregard any error messages or incorrect values on the displays.
The figure below shows the WP20 user interface front panel. There are three windows that
display information, and eight pushbutton keys. The following describes the panel function.

5.01

Windows

RATE window - displays the material flow RATE over the belt scale.

MODE window - there are four different modes in which the WP20 can run. In each mode only
certain information is displayed and only certain functions are available.
1) Run mode - displays the RATE units of measure, the BELT SPEED, and SCALE STATUS.
2) Program mode - displays the list of settings such as BELT SPEED, RELAY OPTIONS, etc.
3) Simulations mode - displays all Program Mode settings when running at a simulated RATE.
4) Bench Test mode - displays key functions and produces fixed outputs.

TOTAL window - Displays the TOTAL weight of material that has passed over the belt scale
since the last time the TOTAL was reset to zero.
