EMPTY THE DUST COMPARTMENT AND CLEAN THE FILTER
1. Remove the hand-held vacuum from its holder
by pressing the release button.
2. Separate the tank from the body of the unit by
pressing the release button (1).
3. Remove the assembly: dust container
and filter (2).
4. Remove the filter and empty the contents of the dust container into a bin.
The filter can be shaken or cleaned with soapy water and rinsed with warm water.
Remove the sponge filter. It can also be cleaned with soapy water and rinsed with
warm water. Dry the pieces. (Make sure parts are dry before assembly.)
5. Reinstall the filter and then the dust container in its housing.
CLEANING THE BRUSH
If the brush is obstructed, by threads or dirt, the suction will be less good.
Stop, disconnect from stand and turn up side down the rotating brush. Carefully
use a pair of scissors, or a knife, to remove annoying items such as tread or hair
that may have clogged the brush inlet.
