PANEL CONTROLS
The Fire Alarm Control Panel offers the following manual controls:
Symbol
Function
Description
Reset
Used to reset the fire panel from Test, Fire and Fault conditions.
Also used as a quick exit during Test or Disable mode.
Silence Buzzer (Mute)
Used to silence the internal buzzer of the fire alarm control panel.
Silence Alarm
Used to silence the sounders while investigation is underway.
Sound Alarm
Used to re-sound the sounders if evacuation is to take place.
Disable
Used to disable zones or sounder circuits (3-second press).
Test
Used to put zones or sounder circuits into Test mode (3-second
press).
Also used to perform a LED test (press & release).
Scroll
Used to in conjunction with either the Disable or Test button to
select the zone or sounder circuits to be disabled or put into Test
mode.
Enable Controls Key Switch
Key switch for enable/disabling of controls (key switch must only
be able to be removed in the controls disabled position).

PANEL INDICATIONS
The following LED indicators are provided:
Zone Indications
Status
Description
Fire
(1 per zone)
Flashing Red
The panel has detected a fire alarm condition on a fire zone.
Fault/In Test/Disable
(1 per zone)
Flashing Yellow
Fault condition exists on this zone.
Faulty wiring, or detector removed from the detector base on
respective zones.
Steady Yellow
Zone has been disabled.
(Corresponding status indicator will also be steady i.e., General
Disable.)
Fast Flash Yellow
Zone in Test Mode. (Corresponding status indicator will also
flash fast i.e., Test.)
