RECORD OPERATION - An independent 600 ohm audio output provides combined
transmit and receive audio signals for recording of communication. An Internal jumper
can be set to provide a floating output or ground referenced output.
1.3.4 AC/DC and Battery Operation
The unit can be operated by external 120 VAC, external 28 VDC, or internal battery power.
1.
AC OPERATION - An AC power cord P/N 927002-1 (Refer to Figure 1-2) is supplied
in the front access cover of the portable case assembly. During AC operation, the unit
can be operated without batteries installed. With batteries present, the operator can
elect to trickle charge the batteries during AC operation. The AC power supply can be
set for 220 Vac operation via an internal jumper.
2.
DC OPERATION - The unit can be operated from an external DC supply within the range
of 21.6 Vdc to 30 Vdc. A DC connector is mounted on the rear of the Portable Case
which mates with DC Power Cable P/N 863701-1 (Not Supplied) to facilitate external
DC operation.
NOTE
Battery Charger does not operate during External DC
Operation. Battery charger will only operate from an
AC Power source.
3.
BATTERY OPERATION - Battery operation can be selected from the front panel of the
Portable Case. Two 12 Vdc, 7.2 Amp Hr lead batteries provide battery operation (Refer
to Table 1-1 for Duty Cycle details).
