User levels
To prevent incorrect operation of the controller, three different user groups can log onto the
controller:
User , Technician or Expert . Access by Technicians and Experts requires a password.
User Displays and permitted actions
User

Function overview with options for control
•
Access to main menu only if enabled for " User " in the "General settings"
•
Inputs : display only, no access to the parameters
•
Messages : display of active messages
•
CAN bus : no access to the parameters
•
General settings : language, brightness and display timeout can be altered
•
User : change of user (with password entry)
Technician
All of the above plus :
•
Access to main menu only if enabled for Technician or User in the "General set-
tings"
•
Changes to the parameters for inputs
•
General settings : Changes to user defined designations and creation of new
ones
•
All settings in the CAN bus menu
•
Data administration actions
Expert All actions and all displays are accessible.
The CAN monitor is operated via a 4.3"
touchscreen . For greater ease of use, an operating pen is pro-
vided.

You can use the pen to tap operating fields on the screen and to scroll through the view displayed in
the main menu.
