MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1.
General
This maintenance practice provides instructions to check
the engine mount.
2.
Checking the engine mounts for signs of corrosion and
for chafe marks
This is a visual inspection. Check the engine mount for
signs of corrosion (e.g. nonexistent paint) and for chafe
marks (e.g. chafing hoses) accurately.
3.
Checking the bolts on the mount for paint cracks
This is a visual inspection. For mounts having bolts installed
to seal the tube, check for signs of paint cracks and corro-
sion. (See Figure 71.12)
