THE „DIRT VALVE SYSTEM“ (DVS)
With the GREEN our new DVS is implicated the first time on a serial glider. The functionality is very
easy and also very effective.
Usually dirt like grass, leaved, insects, stones, etc. is blown into the stabilo-area during flight by
the current air flow. There it accumulates and you had to shake it out by yourself through the
designated vents.
At both edges of the GREEN’s wing near the location of the stabilo-line are vents which are kept
closed by the line-drag during stationary flight. If the line-drag is decreased – e.g. on manoeuvring
“big ears” - these vents open and dirt is blown out by the air flow.
Of course you can remove dirt still the way you did before but we recommend to use the capability
of the DVS.
