USB Player
Will not play.

Confirm that there are MP3/WMA files on the USB
flash memory.
MP3/WMA
Cannot play.
e
Check the MP3/ WMA file ex tension. This unit
recognizes MP3 files by their “.mp3”, and WMA files by
their “.wma” file extensions.
e
MP3/WMA file data might have been corrupted.
e
The file data format might not be an MP3/WMA
format.

Cannot display the file information correctly.
e
ID3 tag information for the file is missing. Edit the title,
artist, and album information of the file on a PC using
a suitable application.
e
If the file information contains double-byte characters,
playback is possible but the name will not be shown
correctly.
DAB tuner
No sound.
e
Ensure that the unit has been able to locate a DAB
station.
“No Station” appears on the display.
e
Confirm that a DAB broadcast is available in your area.

Cannot listen to the selected station.
e
Confirm that you have pressed the SELECT button
to listen to a selection. The station you are currently
listening to will be displayed on the first line of the
display, the second line will show other station options
as you scroll through the station order list. Press the
SELECT button to activate your selection.
A burbling sound is heard on some stations.
e
A DAB system is able to produce quality audio from a
low level signal, but when the signal level is too low,
a “burbling” sound might be heard. To reduce this,
try repositioning your antenna to maximize signal
reception.
FM Radio
Cannot listen to any station, or signal is too weak.
e
Tune in the station properly.
e
Reposition the DAB/FM antenna for the best reception
position.
When the source is “FM”, though the broadcast is
stereo, it sounds monaural.
e
Press the FM MODE button.
If normal operation cannot be obtained, unplug
the power cord from the outlet and plug it again.
This resets the internal micro-computer which
can be disturbed during electrical storms, power
interruptions, etc.
