This chapter describes the basic operation which is
available in every sound source.

Press the Standby/On (
¤
) button to turn the
unit on.

The unit turns on with the source that was last
selected.
If the BAND button is pressed the unit will turn on
and DAB or FM will be selected.

Press the FUNCTION button to select a source.
Each time the FUNCTION button is pressed, the
sound source changes as follows:
DAB
FM
AUX
(External source)
iPod(
or
iPhone)
USB
o
To listen to an external component connected to the
AUDIO jacks, select “AUX”.
o
You can also use the BAND button to select directly
“DAB” or “FM”.

Play the source, and adjust the volume using
the VOLUME ( + / – ) buttons.
The volume can be adjusted from MIN (0) to MAX
(40).
Dimmer
Press the DIMMER button
to dim the display light.
Press the DIMMER button again to restore the display to
its normal brightness.
o
This function will be cancelled when the STANDBY/ON
(
¤
) button is pressed.
Muting
You can mute the sound temporarily.
Press the MUTING button.
Press the MUTING button again to restore the sound.
o
“Muting” lights on the display while muting is engaged.
o
If you change the volume level or sound source when
the sound is muted, muting is cancelled.
