Channel Management

The Channel Edit menu lets you make personal changes to the program listings. To access

this menu:

1. Press the

MENU

 button, select "Channel", and press

OK

.

2. Use the

▲/▼

buttons to choose Channel Edit and press

OK

.

3. Customise your channels as desired – referring to on-screen button hints and the detailed

descriptions below.

4. To finish, press the

EXIT

button to exit the menu entirely.

Note:

If the locking system is enabled, Channel Edit is password protected. Key in the correct

password. (Default password: 0000)

Favourite: You can save a list of favourite channels. Select the channel you want and press the

FAV

button. A "heart" symbol will appear beside the channel. All channels marked this way will

show up when you open your Favourite channels list while watching DTV by using the

FAV

button. To remove channels from the Favourites list, come back to the Channel Edit menu, then

press

FAV

again on the selected favourite channel to remove the "heart" symbol.

Delete: To completely delete a channel off your list, select the channel to delete and press the

RED

button.  A confirmation message will pop up. Use the

◄/►

 buttons to choose “Yes” to

confirm the deletion, or “No” to cancel. Press

OK

to finish. If you need to find this channel again

later, please use Auto Tune or Manual Tune to search for it.

Swap: You can customise your channel list with this command. Select the channel to be moved

and press the

GREEN

button. Now, the channel name will be highlighted in green. Use the

▲/▼

buttons to choose the new channel position. Press the

GREEN

 button again to confirm the

change. Your chosen channel has now switched positions with the original channel in the list.

Lock: You can password protect specific channels with this command. The Lock feature needs

to be enabled for this to work. (To do this, go to Function Menu > System Lock.) Select the

channel to be locked and press the

YELLOW

button. To remove the lock on a locked channel,

select it and press the

YELLOW

button again to remove the "lock" symbol.

Note:

You can also password protect programs based on their viewer ra

ting (PG/MA, etc) by

going to Function Menu > System Lock > Parental Control.

BLUE

button to mark the channel. As long as the channel

has a skip symbol (a blue "stop" sign), it will be skipped when you browse through the channels

with the

CH

▲/▼

buttons. You will still be able to go to this channel by keying in the channel

number directly, or when you browse channels with the

◄/►

 buttons in the EPG.
