Digital Filter
This switch changes the digital filter for the 2 channel high quality
analog audio output terminal.
RDOT:
This is a digital filter using Fluency theory. The RDOT filter has
a slow roll-off and natural extended audio characteristics and
provides frequency multiplication.
FIR:
This FIR-type digital filter also provides frequency
multiplication. It has a sharp roll-off and firmly-defined bass
characteristics.
RDOT+FIR:
This combines the RDOT and FIR filters, allowing the best
characteristics of each filter to be used.

During playback of a SACD, the DSD filter is selected
automatically, and the DSD indicator lights instead of the UP
CONVERT indicators.

FIR : 1536kHz (8 times)
RDOT+FIR : 1536kHz (FIR 8 times)
The UP CONVERT indicators indicate the up-converted sampling
frequency.
It changes depending on the setting of the DIGITAL FILTER switch
and the sampling frequency of the disc.
