2.3 Notes on service and maintenance
Prior to operation the tool must be in a proper and clean condition. Any residues should be removed with
a soft brush or cloth.
The joints should be oiled regularly with light precision mechanics oil and protected against soiling.
Once the hand tool is no longer required it should be stored, dry and clean, in the case provided.
3 Intended use
The SOLARLOK crimp hand tool applies SOLARLOK crimp contacts with a cross section of
2,5 / 4 / 6 mm².
The hand tools and heads are only to be used for the contacts listed in table 1. The contacts may only be
used in combination with SOLARLOK wire approved by TE Connectivity.

Application Notes
Cumulative Trauma Disorders can result from a prolonged use of manually powered hand tools.
