Charging & Battery Care

To charge , plug the charger in the wall, and the charger into the charging port located on

the right hand side of your scooter just beneath the deck.

When charging your scooter for the first time, it is recommended that the unit be charged

for 6-8 hours prior to first use. You may notice that the green light comes on, leave the

unit charging for the full 6-8 hours before unplugging.

After the first charge, charge your scooter until the green light appears. The scooter may

be left charging for up to 12 hours. Please do not exceed this period as your batteries

may suffer irreparable damage and this treatment will render your warranty null and void.

•

Do not heat the battery, throw it into fire, immerse it in liquids, short-circuit or place

it in a microwave oven!

•

Never immerse the charger and battery in water or other liquids! Ensure that the

charger, battery, cable or plug do not fall into water or become wet. Should the

charger fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately.

•

Never open the battery pack or the charger!

•

Never touch the charger, cable or plug with wet hands.

•

Risk of short-circuits! Ensure that there are no metallic objects in the vicinity of the

charger plug and the contacts of the battery!

•

Risk of short-circuits! After charging, be sure to push the cover over the charger

socket of the battery.

•

For the first charge your scooter must be left to charge for 6-8 hours.

•

From there onwards charge your scooter until the green light appears on the

charger. Do not keep the charger plugged in for a period longer then 12 hours, this

may cause irreparable damage to your batteries and will not be covered by warranty.

•

Make sure that you charge your scooter prior to storing it. Make sure you charge it

at least once every 14 days. Not charging the scooter every 14 days may result in

causing irreparable damage to your batteries which will not be covered by warranty.

To increase the range on your batteries, be sure to charge your scooter whenever the

scooter is not in use. After use of your scooter charge your batteries. Consistent charging

will build up the range of your batteries.
