any other part is damaged. If a part is

Care Line. You will find the telephone

you at once.
Check that the mains voltage matches
the technical specifications of your
machine.
Do not allow your sewing machine to
come into contact with moisture - you
run the risk of receiving an electric
shock!
Do not leave children alone with the
sewing machine. Even when the sewing
machine is unplugged there is still the
risk of injury.
Always unplug the sewing machine
before performing the following opera-
tions:
–
Changing the needle and the foot
-
Threading the needle
–
Changing the bottom bobbin
-
Before inserting or removing the
embroidery/darning throat plate
–
Whenever the sewing machine is
left unattended
–
During any cleaning and mainte-
nance
Please also be sure always to unplug
the sewing machine after use.
When you are not using the sewing
machine always use the hand wheel to
raise the needle to the highest position.
This protects it from damage.
While sewing, please be sure that you
do not place your fingers under the
needle clamp screw.
Only use brand name accessories and
spare parts (maximum lamp output
15 W).
Please be careful when setting up the
sewing machine:
Modern furniture is coated with a
variety of varnishes and paints and is
cleaned with a number of substances.
Consequently, it is not possible to
guarantee that these substances never
contain ingredients that attack and
soften the rubber feet of your sewing
machine. If necessary, place a non-slip
mat under the sewing machine.
Do not tinker with the sewing machine
in any way. Do not replace the power
lead yourself. Any repairs to the sewing
machine or the power lead should be
carried out by an authorised dealer.
Improper repair poses considerable risk
of injury to the user.
The sewing machine was developed for
sewing fabric under normal household
conditions. It is not suitable for
commercial purposes. Do not use the
sewing machine inappropriately.
Keep these instructions at hand in case
you want to check something or pass
the sewing machine on to a third party.
