Press RIGHT to display the features of Channel Lock and then press

     UP/DOWN to select Disable or Enable. When Enable  is selected, all 
     the channels you select to be locked will be enabled.

If you want to prevent the children against all channels, go on with the 
following steps:

Press ATV MENU to go back to the previous menu, and then press 

     UP/DOWN to highlight Child lock.

Press RIGHT to display the features of Child lock and then press 

     UP/DOWN to select On or Off. When On is selected, the buttons on
     the front panel of the TV will be disabled.

When turning on the TV, "INPUT PASSWORD" appears on the screen.

     One has to input the password and then all buttons become active again.

If you want to change the password, go on with the following steps:

Press ATV MENU to go back to the previous menu, and then press 

     UP/DOWN to select Change PWD.

Press RIGHT and then New PWD. is highlighted. Use the number 

     buttons to enter a new password and finally enter the same digit again 
     to confirm.

5.7   NOTEBOOK

This feature enables you to store personal messages.

Press NOTEBOOK to display 

the

Notebook window directly.

Press CAPS to toggle the entry mode between uppercase or lowercase 

     letters.

Use NUMBER/LETTER buttons to enter letters, numbers or some special

      symbols.

Press the DEL.(delete) button to delete the unwanted text.
Press INS.(insert) to toggle between INS(insert) and OVR(overwrite)

      showed on the screen and then use NUMBER/LETTER buttons to insert
      or overwrite the letters or numbers in the text.

Press UP/DOWN to select MESSAGE, and then press LEFT/RIGHT

     to select ON or OFF. If you select ON, the Notebook window with the 
     stored message will be displayed on the screen first when the TV is
     turned on. And meanwhile, the sound of beep can be  heard to remind
     you of this note.

If you want to display the message at a specified time, go on selecting 

     --:--

 with the DOWN button

a number at Hour

, e.g.7.

 Then press DOWN

and use RIGHT/LEFT to enter a number at Minute, e.g.30. It means that 

the Notebook

 window with the

stored message will be automatically displayed 

on the screen at 7:30 and meanwhile the

 sound of beep

can be heard. 

(Note: the MESSAGE should be set to ON.)

5.8   HOTEL MODE SETTING

Press ATV MENU to display the on-screen menu.
Press UP/DOWN to select Setup.
Press

the

NUMBER button to enter 2000, and display the Hotel Mode menu.

Press RIGHT to enter the Hotel Mode submenu.
Press UP/DOWN to set the Hotel Mode to On and activ

ate

 the Hotel mode.

Press UP/DOWN or LEFT/RIGHT to select as you

 desire

.

Press EXIT to quit menu, or menu will disappear after a few seconds

     without any further action
Notes:

AV Lock: select On to lock AV input and AV input cannot be selected.
Tuning Lock: select On to lock tuning. Tune menu In ATV mode and 

     Program Search in DTV mode cannot be selected.
