3.7   COLOUR SYSTEM

This feature allows you to select 

a

suitable receiving system for the specific

broadcasting system in your area.

Press ATV MENU to display the on-screen menu.
Press UP/DOWN to select the main menu Tune.
Press RIGHT to enter the Tune submenu.
Press UP/DOWN to select Colour.
Press RIGHT to display the features of Colour (AUTO, PAL, N3.58,

     N4.43).

Press UP/DOWN to select the desired colour system.
Press EXIT to quit

     without any further action.

Notes:

Colour system: If AUTO is selected, the TV will select the respective

     colour system automatically to match the receiving system. 

3.8   PICTURE ADJUSTMENT

To adjust your TV picture, select a channel and follow the steps below:

Press ATV MENU to display the on-screen menu.
Picture is highlighted. Press RIGHT to enter the Picture submenu.
Press UP/DOWN to highlight your choice: Brightness, Colour, Contrast, 

     Sharpness, Tint.

Press LEFT/RIGHT to decrease or increase the element you choose.
Press UP/DOWN to go on selecting Color Temp..
Press RIGHT to display the features of Color Temp..
Press UP/DOWN to select Normal, Warm or Cool.
Press EXIT to quit

Notes:

Brightness

:

Brightens the darkest parts of the picture.

Colour

:

Is used to add or reduce the colour.

Contrast

:

Is used to adjust the distinction between the black and the

     white parts of the picture.

Sharpness

:

Improves picture details.

Tint

:

Obtains natural skin tones of NTSC picture. (For NTSC only, this

     feature is not selectable for the other signals.)

Color Temp.: You can select Normal, Warm or Cool mode.

     (Normal will keep the whites white; Warm will keep the whites reddish 
     and Cool will keep the whites bluish.)

3.9   PRESET PICTURE MODE

This function enables you to choose preset video settings for different types 
of programs and viewing conditions. Most picture settings are preset at the 
factory to automatically adjust the TV's Brightness, Colour, Contrast, and 
Sharpness.

Press ATV MENU to display the on-screen menu.
Picture is highlighted. Press RIGHT to enter the Picture submenu.
Press UP/DOWN to select Picture Mode.
Press RIGHT to display the features of Picture Mode.
Press UP/DOWN to select Mild, Normal, Dynamic or PP.
Press EXIT to quit menu, or menu will disappear after a few seconds

     without any further action.
