Operating Procedures
Sanitizing
Step 1
Using
lukewarm
water, prepare an approved 100
PPM sanitizing solution (examples: 5 gal. [19 liters]
of Kay-5
R
or 4 gal. [15 liters] of Stera-Sheen
R
).
USE WARM WATER AND FOLLOW THE
MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS.
Step 2
Place the feed tube and the flow control rod flat on
the bottom of the hopper.

Place the product chutes in the hopper.

Step 4
Make sure the draw arm plate is closed and the
short door stud nuts are snug.

Step 5
Attach the splash guards to the door studs.

Step 6
Make sure the refrigeration switch and the hopper
refrigeration switch are in the “OFF” position.
Figure 22
IMPORTANT! Refrigeration should NOT be on
when water is present in the freezing cylinder or
hopper.
