8. Place a pail beneath the sampling valve, which is
located behind the front drip tray. Slowly open the
sampling valve, and allow sanitizer to flow through
this line and into the pail. After approximately 1/2 gal.
(1.9 L) of sanitizer has been dispensed, close the
valve.
9. Raise the prime plug only enough to allow a slight
hissing sound. Place an empty pail under the door
spout. When sanitizing solution begins to exit the
relief port opening in the freezer door, lower the
prime plug. Press the OFF key.

10. Prepare a pail of approved 100 PPM sanitizing
solution (examples: 2-1/2 gal. [9.5 L] of Kay-5
®
or 2
gal. [7.6 L] of Stera-Sheen
®
). Use warm water and
follow the manufacturer’s specifications.
11. With the pail beneath the door spout, open the draw
valve and relieve all pressure from the freezing
cylinder. Remove the hopper cover. Slowly pour the
sanitizing solution into the mix hopper until the
hopper becomes 1/4 full of sanitizing solution.
