Common Machine Malfunctions and Solutions
Warning
:
Machine maintenance and repair must be carried out by
qualified technicians. The operating voltage in the machine can be up to 600V
and it is important that power be cut at the machine and at the control box
before covers are removed and repairs carried out. A cooling-down period of
at least 5 minutes is required before commencement of any inspection and
repairs. This will allow the capacitor to fully discharge.
1. Inspection Before Overhaul
1.1. Check if the line voltage on the three-phase power supply is within the range of
340V - 420V and, that all phases on a three-phase system are intact.
1.2. Check if the power cable as well as the earth wire is firmly connected.
1.3. Check whether the wiring connections are correct and firmly connected.
2. Common Machine Problems and Troubleshooting
