Scarifier shanks
The scarifier shanks feature height
adjustment (A) in the fertilizer tubes,
regardless of the shanks, allowing the
placement of the product in different
depths, regardless of the shanks working
depth.
The working angle (B) of the shanks
can also be adjusted according to the soil
hardness. For hard soils, use the superior
hole of the scarifier, leaving it in a vertical
position.
Do not make sharp turns during work.
This act can cause damage to the row
components.
Adjustments and operations
Fertilizer depth
• The fertilizer position related
to the seeds must be well
observed. The ideal is to deposit
the fertilizer twice as deeper
than the seed depth.
NOTE
The bushings on the lower part of
the rods adjust the depth when changing
the springs working pressure. The row
unit articulation course is adjusted
through the rod adjustment.
• Assemble the scarifier shanks as
unaligned as possible between
the long and short row units.
