• The cutting height must be set according to the soil type, avoiding that the
blades touch the soil frequently.
• For a better performance, we recommend that the cutting height should be no
less than 50 mm from the soil.
• Every time the cutting height is changed or a tractor with a different height in
the traction bar is used, it is necessary to check the cutter level again.
• It is important to reach a
540 rpm
rotation in the PTO before starting the
cutting process.
Cutting height adjustment
Adjustments and operations
The cutting height adjustment is determined by the different rod stops (A) used in the
hydraulic cylinder rod.
These rod stops limit the cylinder rod course, keeping the cutting height uniform during
the whole job.
Two rod stops of different sizes are included with the cutter. Combined they can set
several adjustment points.
If it is necessary to perform a small adjustment in the cutting height, use the adjusting
nut (B).
