Working preparation
Longitudinal leveling
Adjust the cutter in a flat place, being it properly hitched to the tractor.
• Activate the hydraulic cylinder (A) a couple times. Stop it in the cutting height that
will be used during the job. Example: Having the blades 60 mm away from the soil.
• Check the longitudinal leveling of the cutter and, if necessary, adjust it using the rod
(B).
• The cutting height must be set according to the soil type, avoiding that the
blades touch the soil frequently.
• For a better performance, we recommend that the cutting height should be no
less than 50 mm from the soil.
• Every time the cutting height is changed or a tractor with a different height in
the traction bar is used, it is necessary to check the cutter level again.
• It is important to reach a
540 rpm
rotation in the PTO before starting the
cutting process.

B
To adjust the rod (B), the cutter should be totally lowered to the ground and
without the rod stops (C).
NOTE
• To keep the cutting height uniform
during the whole job, use the rod stops
(C) in the cylinder rod.
