Before Storage the Cutter
- Remove the slip clutch and the cardan shaft and keep them in a clean, dry
and covered place.
- Verify all the transmission components. If necessary, make the replacement of
the damaged parts.
Obs.: USE TATU ONLY TATU ORIGINAL PARTS.
When Returning the Cutter into Operation
- Lubricate all the grease
points.
- Verify the oil level.
-Make the following
procedures with the slip clutch.
A) Make note on the
average length of the springs,
before disassemble.
B) Disassemble and
sandpaper all the metallic parts
glued with the friction plates.
C) With the slip clutch
disassembled, the friction plates
must turn freely on the metallic
parts.
D) When the thickness of the
friction plates (B) is less than 1,5 mm
must be replaced.
E) After this procedure
assemble the slip clutch again.
F) The adjusting springs (A)
must be adjusted to have the same
length they had before
disassembly.
G) If after the preventive
maintenance the slip clutch is
slipping constantly in normal work,
proportionally tighten the nuts (C),
until this fact do not occur.
