Cutting depth adjustment
NOTE The spacing rings used on the hydraulic cylinder rods will set a smaller
opening, always keeping the same depth adjustment on the discs.
IMPORTANT
•
To start the harrowing, we recommend an average disc gang
opening and an average opening in the holes of the drawbar plates.
Adjust it, if necessary.
•
The harrowed ground is always on the left hand side of the operator
(harrow closed side).
•
Try to make a good finish between passes. Avoid the formation of
furrows or untilled strips.
•
The harrow and tractor drawbars must be as aligned as possible
related to the working direction.
The cutting depth is adjusted by the front and rear disc
gangs opening (A):
1) Disc gangs opening.
The greater opening (A) between gangs is adequate when
it is necessary to work on harder soils. On light and loose soils,
decrease the opening.
Note that the harrow opening may change the cutting
angle of the front and rear disc gang discs.
